Sage is advancing Sage Intacct toward a more unified, connected finance platform that brings together core financial management with planning, spend controls, cash and payments, and role- and industry-aligned processes.
The objective is to simplify cross-system work, improve the timeliness and consistency of data, and enable stronger operational and financial decision-making. Key initiatives include:
- a next-generation planning experience that is directly integrated with Sage Intacct Financials
- expanded expense capabilities using automation to improve accuracy and policy enforcement.
- upcoming receivables and payment enhancements intended to shorten the cycle from billing to collection.
Sage is also delivering targeted updates for insurance, financial services, product-focused businesses, and construction/real estate while distinguishing between autonomous AI agents (which can execute tasks under governance) and embedded industry workflows (which guide users through standardized, sector-specific steps).
In parallel, Sage HCM is positioned to strengthen alignment between workforce data and financial operations, and the broader connected strategy is intended to support partners in delivering advisory-led services and midmarket growth.
