It has been twenty-five years since the attacks of September 11, 2001. Today, over one-hundred-million Americans are too young to remember that day which changed America forever.
On that day 2,983 souls lost their lives, and since then, more than 4,000 others that were injured, or who suffered the aftermath of toxic exposures, have also paid the ultimate price. Their sacrifices should be the earnest commitment of every American to never forget the events of 9/11 because it teaches us that ‘freedom is never free.’
Today, we observe the anniversary of not only the tragedy, but the service, bravery, and sacrifice of so many responding to the attacks that day, and the many days that followed.
